The tunes I love most:
I can't resist a good song, although plenty of instrumental music also tickles the ear and moves my hips. I come in to contact with a lot of different music through work and recently have been enjoying Psapp - Tiger, My Friend; Jamie Lidells' Multiply; Readymade FC - Babilona; Jose Gonzalez - Veneer; King Creosote - KC Rules; Clor; Fat Freddy's Drop; and some Johnny Cash that I downloaded for "educational" purposes - you can't avoid the past with music. The right kind of house/techno still makes me rush & want to dance, but any band who perform well live gets thumbs up from me.
Best stuff on my bookshelf:
Chuck Palahniuk, Jonathan Safran Foer, John & Sheila Peel's autobiog. still waiting to be read: Mark Twain collection, Dave Eggars, 6 months' issues of the Ecologist Magazine and out-of-date Barbican brochures. Whilst I'm not the most bookwormish of readers, I do like to be recommended books by people who feel passionately about them and I've kept all my kids books to read again in retirement!
Favourite piece of design:
macs, my old Saab 9000 (inside only), the Routemaster bus, old pubs, many parts of London. Bits of old and new basically.

A suit to wear at a wedding, which I'm trying to find new excuses to wear. I was researching the 'look' by watching the film Layer Cake. Also bought tickets to see Fat Freddy's Drop, anti-freeze, house plants, loads of food....

I'm just looking to meet people and see where it takes us. I'm quite new to this - haven't used any personal ad list whether online or otherwise and I'm often away for weeks at a time.
